From the two races yesterday the CTC Bet ‘Kahraba’ could only manage 3rd place at a shorter price than expected of 11/8 and the race was won by ‘Novirak’ at 100/1.

In the other race however ‘Dean Iarracht’ won comfortably by two lengths at 8/1 with ‘Tropical Duke’ in 4th at 11/1.

The good progress with the Lay selections on the main service continued yesterday when ‘Nearby’ was well beaten at 5/6 on.

*The going is soft at Goodwood and while ‘Debussy’ is the class for of the race the soft going may have a say and at the present prices my two tentative selections may just be worth a bet.
