Well I am sorry to say my Crystal Ball has gone missing so I am only able to pass on my thoughts about the big race today.

Just in case my selection romps home in front I would like to point out that this entry is being written prior to 12 noon on Saturday 24th of July.

The big race today is The King George and the extremely impressive Derby Winner ‘Workforce’ is the hot favourite. He has a very strong chance going on his record breaking Derby run but at the price I am not backing him and he is already odds-on on Betfair.

The horse that I think could give the favourite something to think about is ‘Cape Blanco’ who has been on my service earlier this year as a winning selection. ‘Cape Blanco’ is the only horse to have beaten ‘Workforce’ but it has been well documented that day that the Derby winner had problems with his tack.

That said at the prices I prefer to take a chance on ‘Cape Blanco’ who should have a great chance of finishing in the first two home and while I feel 2nd is more likely there is a chance of him winning. So at the price, currently 13/2 on Betfair, my selection is ‘Cape Blanco’.

As a side note the first Aida Racing Seminar is taking place on Thursday the 29th next week and while this is only a small event, as indeed any others are likely to be, there are two places still available if you are interested and if you are quick.

However, what I really want to say is that I will be collecting feedback from the 12 delegates and I will make it available to anyone who wants to know. So if you are interested in how this first Seminar was received drop me an email and I will let you know.

Today’s Tip – In big races there is often a lot of hype, and while I may be wrong in the big race today, hype usually means shorter prices and the more shorter priced selections you back the less value you are likely to be getting.
