Glorious Goodwood starts today and there really is some great racing to look forward to before the big match which looks between ‘Frankel’ and ‘Canford Cliffs’. I am firmly in the ‘Frankel’ camp.

Goodwood is not an easy track and therefore winners can certainly be harder to find, add that to the highly competitive nature of this meeting and it could be a recipe for losing one’s shirt.

Yesterday on this racing blog there were just the two races. There was a 5/1 winner with ‘Colinca’s Lad’ at 5/1 and in the other race ‘Beckermet’ came in 2nd at 3/1 and ‘Weetentherty’ finished in 3rd at 20/1.
