A tough Coral Eclipse and the Aida Racing Blog selections for 2nd July

By on Jul 2, 2011 in Aida Racing |

It’s Coral Eclipse day today and it really does look a tough one to call. ‘So You Think’ is Aidan O’Brien’s hope in the race and no doubt the colt will run a big race. But then standing in his way is surely the joint Derby and Arc winner ‘Workforce’.

Both horses are too short for me to be backing I feel as it really could go either way and you never know there could be a shock winner as there are three others in the race too.

I do however have two bets for you in The Old Newton Cup, that’s the 3.25 at Haydock. Where I reckon the improving bottom weight ‘War Poet’ should have a solid chance.

Yesterday’s horse on the Blog were very disappointing and I am only saved from total blushes by my NAP ‘Brasingaman Eric’ last night. The best result from the free selections was ‘On Her Way’ who was 2nd at 12/1 but it was a poor second.

I am expecting some better results today but it is Saturday and anything can happen, good luck: –

Haydock 3.25 No.3 Mount Athos & No.17 War Poet
Beverley 4.05 No.1 Noodles Blue Boy (CTC)
Beverely 5.10 No.3 Medaille D’Or & No.6 Sangar
Sandown 4.50 No.7 Elusivity

If you are interested in attending my Seminar please feel free to call me during the racing this afternoon or any time tomorrow and ask any questions you might have. You’ll always get the truth and I may even be persuaded to give you a discount.
