As I have said before there is no such thing as a certainty in racing and the CTC (Closest to Certainty) bet on Saturday was unfortunately beaten by half a length at 9/4. Quite frankly I could find very little reason for the winner to have beaten my selection but that’s racing.

It was not the easiest day on Saturday to find winners but tell me when Saturday is? I have three bets today and I do have a CTC bet which is forecast at 4/1 although the horse is shorter than that at the moment.

The last bet is a poor race and the horse has not won for a long time however at the 14/1 forecast I just about reckon it is worth the risk.
