Horse Racing Tips and Racing Systems That Work…At least some of the time anyway!

Why So Many Short Priced Selections?

By on Apr 20, 2011 in Aida Racing |

When I feel a day has been a particularly tricky to find winners, and most days are, I sometimes look at the NAP Challenge Table in the Racing Post. I happened to look this morning and I was surprised, well actually shocked to see yesterday’s NAP results.

There are 52 ‘tipsters’ in this table and of course sometimes they get some decent winners but on occasions I really have to wonder why some of these tipsters have to pick such short priced horses that anyone could pick with one eye shut.

Surely someone who writes for a racing paper or the racing section in a paper should be able to come up with a better tip than an odds on favourite?

From the 52 NAPs yesterday there were 7 who found a winner. Only one of these horses was odds against and that winner was ‘Boom And Bust’ at 11/10. I actually highlighted that horse myself on this BLOG but it was forecast at 11/4 in fairness to both.

However the other 6 ‘tipsters’ had winners at the following prices: –
4 found the 2/11 winner Jamaican Bolt
1 found Chiefdom Prince at 8/15
1 found Sacred Shield at 10/11

Some might say, ‘well a winner in a winner’ but come on backing at these silly prices in the end will only lead to one thing and that is losing your betting bank!

Today is the last day that you can claim the £500 Seminar Discount and learn how to find some decent priced winners.
