From the three selections yesterday there were two second places and a third place not good enough I am afraid, but I am hopeful for a good run from half of Alan King’s horses today and I have hopefully picked the right two.

There weeks ago I put up ‘Walkon’ as my main BLOG selection even after a break of over 600 days and the horse ran a brilliant race but was pipped on the line at 12/1. If the horse is no worse for that run and this race does not come too soon for him he should be thereabouts in today’s big race The Totesport Trophy Hurdle.

My main race selection today in that race and I am going for two of Alan King’s horses, but I do feel that one of the many dangers has to be ‘Final Approach’ trained by Willie Mullins. I have three races today and I am doing some dutching in two of them, it is a very tricky Saturday after all.
