On Saturday there were mixed fortunes for the BLOG but at least the main bet won well in the Heroes Handicap at Sandown. It was a very tough looking race and ‘Kilcrea Kim’ was supported in the betting into 11/2 and held on well after being in front from over 2 furlongs out to win by just over a length. The second selection in the race didn’t do quite so well finishing in 9th at 20/1.

Monday the 7th does not give too many betting opportunities I feel and with Ayr being waterlogged the choice is limited further. However my selections for today are: –
