No luck yesterday on another day where easy to spot winners were thin on the ground. I feel there are a few decent races today where there is some value to be had and I will be opposing ‘Phidippides’ in the 3.30 at Leicester with one of my main selections for the day. Another short prices favourite I am taking on is ‘Powerful Presence’ in the 2.50 at Southwell. One of them or maybe both may well win but at the prices the risk is minimal.
