I am afraid I couldn’t get three winning Saturday’s on the bounce last week when ‘Tepmokea’ and especially ‘Senate’ were well beaten.

This week we are over the jumps in The Paddy Power Gold Cup Chase at Cheltenham. It does look a very competitive race with very little to separate many of the horses on form.

My original thought was to jump of the hype bandwagon with ‘Long Run’ but there is a little question mark over the horse’s jumping, so as opposed to backing just the favourite I prefer to go for two others with a live chance.

My two selections for this race are: –

No.11 Catch Me – Ridden by Andrew McNamara

No.13 Great Endeavour – Ridden by Timmy Murphy
