There are very few horses today that I fancy at big prices so in the big 2 Year Old race today I feel the horse with the best chance is the forecast favourite ‘Casamento’ ridden by Frankie Dettori.

Several years ago I wrote a system caleld The WOLCO Racing System, which incidentally still works today and this his is what is called a WOLCO Strong Bet. That is certainly not the only reason why I have selected the horse today but the system was based on ratings and this one comes out on top by quite some way.

Doncaster 2.55 – No.1 Casamento

There is plenty of good racing today and another excellent looking race has to be the 3.25 at Aintree, the Old Roan Chase where ‘Monet’s Garden’ bids to win the race for a third time.

The horse is now 12 years of age (we have one that’s 23 and he still bucks like a looney from time to time) but the trainer of ‘Monet’s Garden’ says “…he still thinks he’s six.” So I am going to back this horse in the hope he can win again this afternoon.
