Well once again my crystal ball has gone missing before the days big race and I’m afraid I didn’t get it right yesterday with the nearest of my three selections finishing in 6th place, that was ‘Taqleed’.

It was actually one of just two horses that qualified for my QUEBEC Racing System that won the race at 14/1, but ‘Credit Swap’ was available at 33/1 earlier in the day.  I was wrong to overlook my simple system on this occasion.

However today it is the greatest of the French races, De L’Arc De Triomphe and the horse I have followed all season with three excellent wins to his name is ‘Cape Blanco’.

I also find it interesting that the top French jockey Christophe Soumillon is taking the ride. Unlike last year where ‘Sea The Stars’ could have been backed with reasonable confidence, this years the race is considerably more open.

So my selection in the race is ‘Cape Blanco’ currently around 11/1 on Betfair but you may be able to get a little bigger later in the day.
