The winner is probably going to be the short priced hot favourite ‘Rewilding’ but at only around 6/5, unless you have a rather large stack of cash to spare the odds in my opinion are not too attractive.

While I do feel the favourite has a very solid chance in the race and the Godolphin team have a great record in the race, I would prefer to take the favourite on with a few others in the same race.

So instead of laying the favourite I am going to split my stake across four of the most likely challengers namely ‘Arctic Cosmos’, ‘Dandino’, ‘Joshua Tree’ and ‘Midas Touch’. There is a chance of course that one of them could win and I feel it will be more exciting to watch the race with 4 chances. Don’t necessarily follow me however as this race is not one of the three on my daily service today as I don’t feel it offers enough value.

Today’s tip is not in the big race but it is at Doncaster.

3.55 No.1 Arabian Gleam

This horse has won this race twice previously and despite his relatively poor recent form he could go well again today for a trainer whose horses are running quite well of late.
