  • ‘Hypnotic Gaze’ Wins Easily at 20/1
  • The Winner of The Stewards Cup is….
  • Today’s Tip – Avoid Short Priced Uncertainties

On Monday of this week one of the two races I gave out on my daily service was ‘Hypnotic Gaze’ at Wolverhampton. It was my only selection in the race and why I can’t tell you why the horse stood a solid chance by my reckoning, I can tell you that I was not surprised to see him win.

The horse actually won by 7 lengths at a brilliant 20/1 but I had one email thanking me for the tip as he had backed it at 40/1 on Betfair.

If you are interested in joining my daily service do email me or give me a call if you have my number. The strike rate has been pretty good of late, and while the 20/1 winner was the best price for a while we have had plenty of others winners. I am offering a big discount for a 12 months subscription.

And The Winner of The Stewards Cup is…..

I would love to know, who wouldn’t. In the Stewards Cup at Goodwood I am going to stick with the winning trainer of the big sprint yesterday but I am going for one with bigger odds today in ‘Evens And Odds’. The horse ran very well in this race last year and the jockey’s claim might just make all the difference in such a tough race to call.

I also like the recent form of ‘Jonny Mudball and I like the determination of Seb Sanders too. Both horses are drawn well if the results of yesterday’s sprint is anything to go by.

Selections No.15 Jonny Mudball & No.20 Evens And Odds

Those are the two horses I have put on my service, but I have also backed another three in the race and they are: –

No.1 Knot in Wood, No.13 Striking Spirit, No.23 Sonny Red

At the prices I see no problem with spreading my stake. After all it is such a competitive race and while some people may talk like there is a certainty in the race, I have been around long enough to know in racing there are no certainties especially in big sprints like this one.

Today’s Tip – Avoid Short Priced Uncertainties

In the race I mentioned earlier, were members of this service were given the 20/1 winner, did I mention the horse won by 7 lengths?.

In the race the hot favourite was ‘Mme De Stael’ forecast at Evens, backed into 1/2 at one point and then starting as the 4/6 fav. There was also another gamble in the race with ‘Dubburg’ forecast at 16/1 was backed right down to 3/1. The hot favourite finished 9th of 11 and ‘Dubburg’ 10th of 11.

To get to the point, this race was a Class 6 race and therefore a low grade affair and on the whole in these races it can NEVER be said that there are any certainties. If you remember there are always Short Priced Uncertainties and the vast majority of them are exactly that – you should come out better off in the long run.

Good luck if you are backing today and if you are interested in joining my service do send me an email.
